New Yorker Nuseir Yassin, the person behind the online travel personality Nas Daily, has proclaimed to his many followers that the Philippines is his favorite country.

The Israeli-born travel vlogger, who has gone to 53 countries, claims that there are three reasons why he chose the Philippines out of all the places he has been to.
“People have to speak English fluently so I could talk to them, prices have to be cheap enough to spend money without breaking the bank, and nature has to be incredible enough to steal my breath away,” he said.
His trek in the Philippines brought him to the usual touristy places in the country including Manila, Coron as well as Albay. At one point, he even posed a question to his one million social media followers if he should move to the Philippines.
Yassin felt that Filipinos speak “great English” and are very accommodating to tourists like him. Plus, he got to experience scenic views of nature without burning a hole in his pocket as almost everything in the country is cheap.
He compared his experience with his travels in the Philippines to Thailand, Jordan and Switzerland and while he liked those three countries, there is always a catch to living there. Switzerland, for example, is “heaven,” but he does not think paying $7 for water is right.
That said, Yassin does not sugarcoat his experiences traveling in the islands of the Philippines. He said that a few of the downsides to living in the country include traffic in the urban areas like Metro Manila and the abject poverty, which is experienced by a considerable portion of the population.
Known for posting one-minute videos as Nas Daily, Yassin has a total of 1.2 million likers on Facebook and 33.2 thousand followers on Instagram.
