KKday.com Partners with AirAsia for its PH Launch
Pinoys are given more reason to travel abroad as KKday.com launches in the Philippines to the delight of Filipino adventurers everywhere. This Taiwan-based company is famous for facilitating travels within Asia with customers given the chance to create their own travel itineraries without the exorbitant cost.

Partnership with AirAsia
KKday coupled its Philippine launch with a partnership with AirAsia, the latter being the consistent recipient of the Best Low Cost Carrier award by Skytrax.
The partnership of these two large travel-focused companies presents a whole new experience to the travel-loving Pinoy. With both brands valuing quality above all else, the goal is to “build up the Filipino travel culture by enabling everyone to experience both local and overseas touring.” This was revealed by KKday.com Philippines Country Manager, Joey Yusingco.

Manila Media Launch
The Manila Media Launch was held at Rockwell Club’s Chef Jessie on the 4th of May and invited several media personalities to the event. The occasion was graced by the presence of Philippines AirAsia Commercial Head, Gerard Penaflor and the Regional Executive Director of KKday.com for Southeast Asia, Jim Chang. The Director of the Economic Division of Taipei Economic and Cultural Office, Nick Ni was also present.
During the launch, representatives of both KKday and AirAsia engaged participants in games and plays with awesome prizes, including an all-expense paid trip.
The KKDay Platform Experience
The KKday Philippine launch was focused mainly on encouraging Filipinos to plan their travel itineraries abroad, but this is just a glimpse of what the platform offers. A wide-ranging service, KKday also offers travel itineraries within the country from a visit to Palawan’s El Nido to an underwater adventure with Cebu’s whale sharks.

KKday’s decision to launch in the Philippines was a well-thought out step. According to Jim Chang, the country is one of the most promising markets in the region, especially for e-commerce travel.
In terms of number of Filipino travelers, the Philippines also produces an ‘enormous’ amount compared to the rest of Asia. With strong ties with various countries in the region, Jim Chang described the Philippines as a ‘hub for travelers.’
KKday.com currently has offices in Taiwan, Indonesia, Singapore, Japan, Thailand, Vietnam, South Korea, Malaysia, and Hong Kong. Their services range from experiencing local cuisines, tours, and adventures in more than 170 cities. It’s partnership with AirAsia is further cements its office in the Philippines as AirAsia facilitates to, from, and within the Philippines as it emerges as the Filipino’s favored air carrier.
